The communications initiative is a positive support project established by Aspire (Women's Development Project) located at the Stepney Community Trust, taking place from Monday 14th Sept 09. This is aimed for Bangladeshi Female residents of Tower Hamlets who speak English as a foreign language; and would like assistance with learning English to a standard conversational level.

The Communication Project provides integral coaching for women who speak none or very little English. Sessions are based on key elements such as what to do in emergency, making/cancelling appointments, explaining one's self, and basic English grammar and word pronunciations.Communication is a key element to getting ahead. We believe in giving women voice power, so they life independently.
