To provide social welfare services to improve the condition of life
for the Bangladeshi community in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets
To promote inter-racial understanding through multicultural activities,events
and festival celebrations;
To promote good race relations in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets
by endeavouring to eliminate discrimination on the grounds of race
and encouraging the quality of opportunity between persons of different
groups;
To provide the Educational, Social and Cultural needs of the Bangladeshi
Community by offering Bengali mother tongue classes, Supplementary
Education and other leisure and welfare activities;
To provide special facilities for the Bangladeshi young people through
youth activities and educational programmes;
To undertake special programme for the elderly, pensioner and disabled
people;
To undertake special projects for Bangladeshi women to promote health,
education, training and employment through educational and training
programmes;
