We value diversity, welcome everyone regardless of background, support the disadvantaged and work to achieve equal opportunities and social inclusion!

Welcome to the website of the Stepney Community Trust (SCT), which is a grassroots community organisation, established in 1982. It was set up to help meet the desperate unmet needs of the community at that time, and it is still driven by a strong desire to be at the forefront of helping local people to go forward in life, by addressing their unmet needs and empowering them to take control of their own destiny. SCT works relentlessly, and with great passion, to improve lives of and opportunities for people living in Whitechapel and Stepney areas of the East End. As a community organisation, the organisation acts as a resource centre that supports the disadvantaged and underprivileged in the community by delivering a programme of activities for their benefit. The SCT also helps raise awareness of the changing needs of the area and enables disadvantaged people to acquire relevant skills, knowledge and experiences needed to go forward in life.
