AN URBAN FOOD GROWING PROJECT




The Trust has just received confirmation of Awards for All (Big Lottery) funding to run a unique urban food growing project. The project has several distinct phases, covering training, planting, harvesting and cooking activities. The first phase, February - April 2014, consists of weekly theoretical training / workshops for three months on the principles and practice of urban food growing; skills required to grow one's own food; what to grow; how to grow in small spaces; plant maintenance; watering; harvesting; composting and sustainability, etc. For more details please contact M Ahmedullah on 020 7377 5482 or ahmedullah@stepney.org.uk.
